I specialize in treating anxiety and trauma in adults through individual and couples therapy. Trauma can mean a wide variety of experiences from abuse or life-threatening events to chronic chaos/stress. What is considered traumatic for one person may not be for another. There is no judgement here. Repressing memories and avoiding anxiety takes up a lot of energy. Therapy offers a safe place to process past experiences, explore their impact on current functioning and gain tools to improve coping.

The journey to parenthood is wild and unpredictable. Pregnancy does not always come easy and sometimes ends in a devastating loss. Whatever your road to parenthood may be, your story is valid and full of strength. Pregnancy/parenthood can sometimes ignite familiar experiences of anxiety, panic and depression. For others, it is their first time feeling such emotions. You are in the midst of a monumental identity shift/life experience and are so brave to seek help. I love supporting individuals and couples on this journey.

Couples Therapy
Partnership is work! Your relationship needs care and attention while the world is full of other demands and responsibilities. Though the content may vary, couples often get stuck in ineffective patterns. Wounds are repeated and grow overtime,
leaving both partners in a protective/reactive position. You're both tired of feeling stuck and unheard. Maybe you've just started to notice this or you've been stuck in this place for years. Maybe you want to take a proactive approach! Couples work can help you learn more about your self and your partner. Together we work to shift patterns of relating so that your relationship is better equipped to manage life’s challenges. I utilize both Emotionally Focused Therapy and Gottman Method in my work.
